boobooloo asked:

I am owner of over 5,000 comics but I cannot stand the current trend of poor artwork of anime that has permeated the comic book industry.I realize it is fantasy but why can't the characters at least look believable and not like hanna barbara cartoons.I haven't bought another issue since the departure from realistic art.I can understand someone liking the art but why is it being force fed into all major(dc/marvel)books
It's not just the over sized breast and the enlarged eyes but musculature, texture, shading and inking is very minimal.Surely Dragon ball Z could be compared to Hanna barbara.Compare magilla gorilla to gohan.
Very good comments.I must say some of your examples do look very good, but they seem to be the exception and not the norm.Silver Surfer looking like Bart,I hope not but then again a chubby(homer)hulk would be different.
